If you have ever been out on a sailing boat or are thinking of making the change from dinghies to yachts and are unsure as to whether you will take to it, this is an unexpensive way of finding out.
We will provide a yacht and an instructor and in the course of 2 days will introduce you, in a safe and professional manner, to the joys of sailing. We wilñl instruct you in what to do and when to do it and in acquiring this knowledge and putting it into practice you will discover a new and satisfying pastime.
Nervous about sailing? Your boat will not even leave the berth until you have had a thorough safety briefing from your skipper. The skipper will explain all about the yacht and its equipment, particularly how to stay safe whilst you are sailing and even include mundane, but necessary details such as how to use the loo.
A taster weekend will not involve you in the purchase or hire of expensive, specialised equipment, we provide all that and sheets for the berth and all your food and all your mooring costs. In fact there is nothing to pay apart from the basic cost of the course (for a little fee we will lean you even bad-weather-clothing). We do not unfortunately, run to beer money, but we will provide the rest of the crew to help you spend yours. Sailing is as much about sociability and meeting new people as it is about safety and teamwork.
Weekends run from Friday evening to late late Sunday afternoon and if you need picking up or dropping off anywhere we can arrange that too. You can come on your own, bring a friend for moral support, bring your whole family. We will sail you to the nicest moorings of the Balearics, to Cabrera with its unique
sheltered natural area, enjoy with you impressive nights at the mooring or visit expensive and noisy ports.
